So the story goes, we drive by all sorts of places everyday. To and from work, going to the grocery store and think…one of these days I’m going to go check that place out.  But more often than not, it usually takes someone else talking about it for me to take the time to go someplace new because who has so much time and money that they want to waste it.  Or what road do you drive down everyday, possibly missing out on so many new businesses and local shopping opportunities?  Burien Business is going to help save you time and money by keeping you informed of some of the best local businesses around town!

Only having been to the Daily Perk once which was quite an interesting place, drink coffee and antique shop at the same time. I was inspired to stop into Yo’s Bistro on the recommendation of a local I met at Vino Bello wine bar.

Chai Tea w/steamed milk

I just had my third today lunch at Yo’s.  Whether you’re a fan of Black, Green, Oolong, Chai, Herbal and more, the tea service is marvelous and plentiful for $3.50.  They have free Wi-Fi which is a benefit for the multi-taskers.  Depending on the time you go, it may be quiet but some days it’s packed with all the locals reading the paper, having a sandwich or drinking coffee in groups.  Many ladies are in there eating one of Yo’s salads too.  The pastry case has some heavy duty chocolate chip cookies with another dessert which looks like a mountain of coconut creme pie!   Also offering beer and wine, it’s a well rounded place for whatever your craving.  The Thai dishes have been our personal favorite.  Green or red curry is exceptional, and ginger beef excellent too with no skimping on the rice.  Check back for more highlighted menu items from Yo’s later.
