If you love Washington’s finest wines you absolutely cannot miss tasting the Hightower Cellars lineup!

Since their inaugural 1997 vintage, the Hightowers have been sourcing fruit from Red Mountain, and are acutely aware of the excellent quality of the grapes from this AVA, a knowledge shared by consumers and wine critics alike across the globe. Red Mountain became an appellation in 2001 and is also one of North America’s smallest appellations. It achieves more than 3000 heat units during the growing season, making it one of the warmest sites in Washington State.

2005 Murray Cuvee Red

The Murray Cuvee is very bright, just like its namesake. It has an abundance of intense cherry fruit on the nose which leads into a very smooth yet lively mouth feel. Because it is lighter bodied, it will play nicely with most foods. 88% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc.

2006 Merlot

It has all of the characteristics of a great Merlot - lovely bright fruit, medium weight structure, silky tannins and a pleasing finish that leaves one wanting more. A wine with this structure makes an excellent food wine. 82% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc. 296 cases produced.

2006 Pepper Bridge Vineyard Walla Walla Red Wine

The Pepper Bridge Vineyard Red Wine is full of dark cherry fruits, with a hint of mineralness on the nose. It has a big mouth feel for Merlot and finishes with fruit and gravelly tannins. 100% Merlot Pepper Bridge Vineyard. 196 cases produced.

2005 Red Mountain Red Wine

This wine, which is the 3rd release of a Red Mountain appellation wine, is 100% from Red Mountain grapes.
