Soccer Cleat Retreat

Calling all soccer players in the Normandy Park, Burien, Seahurst area….Have your kids grown out of their shin guards and or soccer cleats??  Soccer season is starting soon, this is a great and cost effective way to get ready!

A fundraiser will be held for people who want to exchange gently used soccer cleats or shin guards for their children just in time for the season.

WHEN: The fundraiser will be taking place on August 5th from 6-7:45pm

WHERE: In the St. Francis Parish Hall (15226 21st Avenue SW Burien, WA 98166)

WHO: This is a brainchild of Mt. Rainier, senior, Sydney Codd. She will be heading this “Cleat Retreat” as part of her Senior Project.

SPECIAL NOTE: Soccer equipment is to be brought to Poggi Bonsi Cucina in Olde Burien (901 SW 152nd Burien, Washington 98166) by August 1st in exchange for a shopping voucher to come back the day of the Event.

  • This event is open to those without equipment to trade.
  • Cleats run $5.00 a pair and shin guards for $3.00.
  • First come first served, and some sizes may not be available.
