The House Restaurant Bringing Prix Fixe dinners to Burien!

The House Restaurant is now Available for any occasion and not just for parties anymore!

The House welcomes Chef Greg Claus to the team. Greg comes with a long list of accolates, and years of experience. He received his original degree from The Culinaary Institute of America in New York, and has done many interesting and impressive things since that time. As part of our House theme, Chef Claus is offering Prix Fixe dinners.

Although prix fixe (pronounced like “prefix”) menus are common in Europe, they’re still somewhat of a novelty to most Americans. A prix fixe menu is simply a collection of pre-determined items presented as a multi course meal at a set price. Prix fixe has become very popular among many of Seattle’s upscale restaurants including: Carnegie’s, Rover’s, Restaurant Zoe, Chez Shea, and Canlis just to name a few. After reading reviews of the prix fixe concept, I’m sold on the benefits. Now you can find it at a Burien Restaurant! You’re going to love what Claus cooks up each night. The House is open for tapas, wine and dinner Wednesday through Saturday, beginning @ 5:00 pm. Seating guests through 9:00 pm, but tapas will be served until 10:00. Collier Catering will remain dedicated to offering private parties at The House too. The House is setting a new standard for entertaining, and being entertained. This elegant little hideaway, located in the heart of Burien, just ten minutes southwest of downtown Seattle reflects the sophistication and class of a big city club.

What will we be doing at The House?

Parties, meetings, presentations, and other events. Your guests will be quite surprised when they see what awaits them behind our storefront. The House is perfect for any party venue, but also serves very well for corporate meetings and presentations. There is a large monitor available for AV needs, as well as internet access. The House is available for lease to groups of up to 45 people. Time is charged in two and four hour increments.
